This Privacy Policy explains what information Bayes Central ("we", "us", "our") collects when you use our website and analytics service, why we collect it, how it's used, and the choices available to you.

2. Information we collect

Account information

When you create a Bayes Central account, our authentication provider collects your email address and manages your sign-in credentials and session on our behalf. We hold a local identifier linking your account to your Bayes Central activity, along with basic lifecycle information (for example, when your account was created and when it was last active).

Uploaded trading-statement information

When you upload an MT4/MT5 trading-statement file, we parse it to extract your trade history (instruments, sizes, timestamps, results) so we can run our analysis. The original uploaded file itself is processed for import and is not retained. The extracted trade data and the resulting analysis are retained under our standard retention window (see "Retention" below).

Product and activity information

We record basic product-usage events (for example, that an upload or analysis completed) and, where you've arrived from a specific link or campaign, first-touch attribution information (such as a referring page or campaign identifier) associated with your account. We do not send the contents of your uploaded statement, your individual trades, or your report findings to any third-party analytics tool.

Contact form information

If you use our contact form, we collect the name, email address, and message you provide so we can respond to you. This information is stored securely and used only to handle your enquiry — it's never used for marketing, never sold, and never associated with a trading-statement upload or account unless you tell us it relates to one.

3. How we use this information

4. Service providers and processors

We use third-party service providers to help us operate Bayes Central — for example, an authentication provider to manage sign-in, a hosting provider to run our application, and a database provider to store account and analysis data. These providers process information only on our behalf and only as needed to provide their service to us.

5. Storage and security

Information is stored using industry-standard hosting and database infrastructure, with access restricted to what's needed to operate the service. Your original uploaded statement file is never retained beyond the import step described above.

6. Retention

Trade and analysis data derived from your uploaded statement is retained for 90 days and automatically purged thereafter, and no longer than reasonably necessary to provide the service to you. Account information is retained for as long as your account remains active, and for a limited period afterward as needed for legitimate business or legal purposes.

7. Cookies and analytics

We use cookies or similar technology to keep you signed in and to understand how our website and product are used. Where we use a third-party product-analytics tool, it is configured to collect only minimal usage/funnel information (for example, that a page was viewed or a button was clicked) — never the contents of your uploaded statement, your trades, or your report findings.

8. Your choices and privacy requests

You can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us using the details below. If you've received marketing communications from us, every such message includes a clear way to unsubscribe — doing so never affects your ability to use your Bayes Central account.

9. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. We'll update the "Last updated" date above when we do.
